My name is Coach Anna McDaniel, and I am excited to introduce myself as VCC’s head swim coach for this summer. I am looking forward to working with each swimmer and helping them grow in skill, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. A little bit about myself, I grew up swimming in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Summer swim team is what started it all but I continued swimming throughout high school and for Swim Atlanta as a year round swimmer. I began coaching when I was 15 years old, coaching summer swim. I then moved to Alabama full time and have been coaching Spain Park High School for the last 5 years. I have recently joined Birmingham Swim League (BSL) as the Head Age Group Coach. Our goal this season is to create a positive and encouraging environment where every swimmer can improve, have fun, and reach their personal best. Whether your swimmer is new to the team or has years of experience, I am committed to helping each athlete succeed.
Hi, My name is Jadyn Lite and I am excited to be an assistant swim coach this summer at Vestavia Country Club! I have been swimming competitively for 13 years now and started my journey through the summer swim environment. Right now, I am finishing up my freshman year of college at the University of Southern Indiana, while swimming at the D1 level. Having grown up in the area, I can’t wait to use my abilities to help the young swimmers build their skills, confidence, and love for the sport this summer.
